Frequently asked questions

“How much do you charge?”

The base rate for drone photos and/or video is $150. This includes up to three hours of shooting on site. After three hours, the rate is $50/hour.

“Do I get to keep all the photos/video?”

Yes, we will send you all the photos and/or video from the shoot. They are yours to use as you wish.

“How will I receive the photos/video?”

Typically, we will upload all photos/video to a Dropbox folder and provide a link to where you can download them. You could also send the link to your editor.

“Do you provide photo or video editing?”

Yes, we can do photo editing or basic video editing for you. The rate for editing is $35/hour.

“What if it’s raining when we want to shoot?”

Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the weather. Rain, strong wind or heavy fog prevents us from flying. We will do our best to work with you and your schedule to ensure your photos and/or videos get shot!

“are there drone restrictions near airports?”

Yes, the Federal Aviation Administration enforces many restrictions regarding where and when drones can be operated. For example, there is an approximately two mile radius around SeaTac airport within which all drone operators need special authorization to fly. There is also a restriction everywhere regarding flying over 400 feet (120m) above ground level. We will work with you to ensure your photos or footage are captured legally!

“What if I need higher altitude shots or footage?”

Chartering a helicopter or airplane is certainly an option. Call, email or message us and we can discuss your needs and the various options available.

“I’m in Spokane. How far will you travel?”
